The girl’s camogie team who won the Mini 7’s blitz in Carnaun.

The 5th and 6th class boy’s football team won the shield in the PCA tournament.

The 5th and 6th class girl’s football team represented the school well in the mini 7’s competition

For Halloween the school held our very successful bake sale in Campus B where the 6th class students took charge of the organisation and administration of the day. It was a great success and raised some much needed money for the school. They also had some great fun on their Halloween dress up day.

The school was delighted to receive new jerseys (left) and singlets kindly sponsored by Emmet Byrne of Byrne Mech. A great group of runners participated in the schools’ cross country championship in Ballybrit while two runners made it to the Connaught finals at the county sports in Renmore.

A number of classes visited the beautifully restored Athenry Castle and then Dominican Abbey before heading to Market Square well stocked for Halloween with pumpkins.

The children really enjoyed designing posters with their own child friendly rules and how to be nice and kind to each other at all times. The children also enjoyed their very successful bake sale and raised some much needed money for the school.
