It was with great delight that we signed contracts for the construction of our Astroturf and Ballwall Facility in Carnaun. We are happy to announce Karol Curran Plant Hire has been appointed as Contractor for the project. We envisage that this project will take circa 12 weeks. We are extremely excited about this project as it will further enhance our facilities and ensure that they are future proofed and viable for use all year round for the boys and girls ,men and women of Athenry GAA Club, Athenry Camogie Club, our local Primary and Post Primary schools along with various other local groups and organisations. Construction work will begin on Monday 27th at 7am. Please note that as a result, Carnaun Clubhouse, Pitches, Walkway and Grounds will be closed for all use until 5:30 each day from Monday - Friday until further notice.
